I recently odered an expensive item via the website that stated ‘delivery within two weeks’ (which would have been the beginning of February). Unfortunately, the next day I received an email saying that due to Brexit and Covid, the item wouldn’t be back in stock until ‘June/July.’ I was told I could wait until then, take a replacement or have a refund. The replacements offered were not suitable, so I requested a refund. I was then told that a refund could not be processed until they had received confirmation from their supplier that my order had been cancelled. I pointed out that as the lack of stock and communications with their supplier are not my issue, they should refund me straight away and deal with their supplier separately (as per the Consumer Rights Act 2015). This request was not taken on board and in the end I waited 10 working days before the refund was even sent to their accounts team to be processed. Their accounts lead time is then ‘7-10’ working days in which they ‘aim to process’ the refund, plus the usual time for the refund to clear. Due to their initial delays and slow internal processes, I eventually waited 20 working days for the refund to be in my bank account. This delay was described as ‘slight’ by the customer services team. I don’t mind when there are issues with orders, especially during difficult circumstances, what is hugely disappointing and stressful is when these are not dealt with fairly and quickly by businesses. Refunds on out of stock items should be processed immediately, not after a 10 working day delay! Only shop with this company if you are willing to gamble on their stock availability and be hundreds of pounds out of pocket while they wait nearly a month to refund you.

Can’t fault the customer service I received, absolutely outstanding! Answered the phone in a friendly tone and despite not having my answers to hand they went away, found out and got back to me! Knowledge of the products they are selling is fantastic and as new customer this goes a long way. Spoke to Emily and Amy on the phone on several occasions and would always ask to speak to them in the future. Keep it up!!!

Excellent customer service - we ordered two items, knowing that one would be arriving later. As it turned out it arrived much sooner than we'd expected, and we had a query about the other item which was resolved really quickly and effectively by Shannon in the customer service team - it involved going away and checking some information, not just a pat response. Very good experience and would certainly use again.

I would have given 5 stars but the item took a few week to arrive due to Brexit delays. During this time I emailed several times and always received a quick response and I called once only to have the phone answered straight away! Great customer service.


We did a lot of research for the Pino Mid Sleeper with Slide and looked at many companies who offered similar. I am so pleased we opted for Cuckooland. The communication for delivery was great, I used the online chat which was fast, efficient, friendly and accurate. The bed itself is so amazing, easy to put together with 2 people! Very clear instructions. Its amazing and highly recommended.

If I could give Cuckooland more than 5 stars I would. Nothing is too much trouble for them and any issues I’ve had, I’ve spoken to a couple of wonderful ladies from the customer service team who have gone out of their way to ensure my experience was a good one. I have honestly never received such brilliant customer service from any other company in the past. I purchased a fire from Cuckooland which they sold on behalf of a third party which was faulty. Despite the fact the fault was not their fault, they issued me with a generous voucher for the inconvenience. I ordered 2 panel heaters using the voucher and prior to delivery, I had an email from UPS regarding a customs charge which required payment for before they could deliver it. As the parcel was coming from Ireland, and the Brexit rules are fairly new to all of us, neither me or the staff at Cuckooland were aware of this at the time of purchase. However, offering the faultless service that they do, they paid the customs charge for me - again, they did not have to do this, but they make it their priority to go above and beyond what is expected of them as a company. If there is something I wish to buy and Cuckooland sell it, their website will be the first I visit as I know I will be looked after and their customers actually matter to them. We have bought a number of pieces from Cuckooland over the last 2 years since renovating our home (some listed below). We absolutely love them all and they really fit with our industrial style through the house. The quality is always excellent with great communication from the contact team. I have one of their Giro shelving units in the gym which my clients always comment on. The recent Dutchbone furniture pieces we bought are fantastic quality for the price and arrived in such good time.I love the funky kids beds and only wish we had discovered this gem of a website 10 years ago. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Delivery took 5 weeks instead of 2 promised on the website. We had to chase them constantly to finally get our marble table (the Panther courier were late and we had to stay home and wait for the delivery for longer) to only find out it has a massive crack all the way across! Therefore we had to wait for another week to get the replacement (this time the courier was 12 hours late! compared to originally booked slot). We had requested a compensation for all the delays and stress but never got one.Afterwards we had to battle for the collection of the damaged table, that in the end never happened and we had to pay for the disposal ourselves! and Cuckooland refused to cover the full cost!Please stay away from this company! After purchasing a table worth over £800 we had to chase the customer service constantly, had huge delays in delivery, received damaged table! and had it cluttering our flat for months! and ended up paying more money for the disposal of it as Cuckooland didn't have decency to collect it!
